Five times world champion at 55kg Greco-roman wrestling Hamid Soryan obtained Olympic license from Asian qualifying tournament in Kazakhstan.

Soryan placed second at 55kg and received license. Finalists of Kazakhstan qualifying tournament captured Olympic licenses.

But at weight 74kg Farshad Alizadeh and at 84kg Taleb Nematpour failed to qualify to London. Iran should try to take these two weight Olympic lisences in China or Finland qualifying tournaments.a
